Wayne Pryor is Strategic Advisor and Business Development Partner at Windy Street, where he brings decades of strategic and transaction leadership to support growth—especially within the healthcare sector.
Prior to joining Windy Street, Wayne led the Healthcare Strategy and Transaction Advisory Services practice at VMG Health. His career spans leadership roles at firms including EY, Mazars, and BKD, where he advised on complex healthcare transactions through the Praxity Alliance network.
Wayne’s early career includes senior planning and finance positions at prestigious institutions such as Mayo Clinic, St. Luke’s Hospital, Cigna Healthcare, Baptist, and St. Vincent Health Systems. Over the years, he has guided more than 500 buy-side and sell-side transactions ranging from $1 million to $50+ billion across nearly every healthcare specialty—from MSOs and DSOs to acute care hospitals, home health, urgent care centers, and specialty pharmacies.
His deep deal experience includes platform acquisitions, divestitures, add-ons, leveraged buyouts, and not-for-profit healthcare affiliations.
Wayne holds a B.A. in Accounting from Western State College in Colorado and studied Public Administration at the University of Arizona. He remains an active member of several professional organizations, including the AICPA, Association for Corporate Growth, Tennessee Society of CPAs, MGMA, HFMA, and the Healthcare Council of Nashville.
